Two Stacks Double Barrel Single Malt Irish Whiskey Review
Irish whiskey bonder Two Stacks continues to impress with this single malt sourced from the Great Northern Distillery. A fairly complex blend of triple and double distilled whiskeys aged in a mix of ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, this expression packs notes of stone fruits, mixed nuts, and a touch of caramel. Peated malt makes up 10 percent of the blend, adding a pleasing layer of earthy smoke to the whiskey's overall profile.
