Trefethen Napa Valley Merlot 2022 Review
Founded in 1968, Trefethen Family Vineyards was among the early pioneers to plant Merlot in the Napa Valley. To this day, the winery sources its fruit from its own estate vineyards. This Merlot from the Oak Knoll District opens with inviting aromas of black cherry, plum, green herbs, and black pepper. The palate is pure Merlot, with juicy, fleshy fruit supported by medium acid and silky tannins. A wonderful wine.
