Chardonnay from Italy is a thing and not a thing. The Italians love their native grapes, but know that we like our Chardonnay, so when they do it well it's a treat. Lemon zest, lime tree with pineapple and mango tinged with mint welcomes you in layers of refreshing un-oaked southern Italian style, taking advantage of those sun hours while not weighing the wine down with wood. It is affordable, and is great for a Spring/Summer spread composed of seasonal food and fare.
