The Yamazaki Single Malt Aged 12 Years
Review
The youngest release from Suntory’s coveted Yamazaki line, this single malt is produced at the company’s oldest distillery, with which it also shares a name. The signature incense character of Mizunara oak shines on the nose, which also serves orchard, tropical, and citrus fruits. Meanwhile, the palate ticks all the right boxes: velvety, balanced, and with and intense, lengthy finish.
