Yes, this whisky is expensive — but rightfully so. One of the most luxurious permanent expressions available, having joined The Macallan core Double Cask lineup a few years ago, this single malt aged in oloroso-seasoned American and European oak casks. Its profile is as luscious and opulent as it gets. Booze-soaked golden raisins, ginger, and caramel dance on the nose, while defined dried fruit and hints of nuts satisfy the palate.
