The Hess Collection 'Hess Select' Monterey Chardonnay 2017 Review
This wine is not about complexity so much as it is about structure and sound classic varietal aromas. It’s about $12 a bottle showing Chardonnay’s favorite aromas and flavors such as apple, pear, and banana with a gripping, soft and easy palate that is slightly spiked by the high alcohol. The structure gives a nice, medium finish but the wine is balanced enough to pull through social settings with success.
