The GlenDronach Revival Aged 15 Years
Review
Named after the Scots Gaelic for “valley of the brambles,” all of the whiskies from highland distillery The GlenDronach exude rich dark berry character. Re-released to market in 2018 following a three-year absence, the 15-year-old bottling is one that will surely delight sherry-cask-aged Scotch lovers. Matured in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez casks, the whisky expertly marries the influence of sweet, fortified wine with its decadent fruit core. The result is a dram that’s seeping in blackberries, walnut praline, and ripe fig.
