Tequila Cimarrón Reposado
Review
While Cimarrón offers a thoughtfully made blanco at an exceptionally affordable price, we want to highlight the brand’s reposado as well because the profile of agave and its funky, savory base distillate far outshine the influence of oak. This is always welcome in the reposado and añejo categories (and beyond) but highly uncommon at this price, where those vessels and techniques are often employed to mask imperfections.
