Tenute del Cabreo 'La Pietra' Chardonnay 2016 Review
Tuscany is not known for its Chardonnay, but when they do it well it’s memorable, like this one. The nose is a welcome package of bruleed peach and toasted coconut. There is a hint of guava and mint mingling with some vanilla. Once you think this wine is too big, it steps back a bit with great acidity which keeps everything in check. The price is a bit high, but if you would spend the same on a Cali Chard, give this one a try.
