Tenute Cisa Asinari Marchesi di Gresy Martinenga Barbaresco DOCG 2014 Review
This wine is the definition of how the Nebbiolo grape can shine in this spectacular wine region. Elegant, yet filled with power, this wine is as sinuous in flow as the river the grapes grow in proximity to, with a spine of firm tannins balancing a bouquet of some of the most enticing aromas of cherry and plum with mint, tobacco leaf dried floral notes, balsamic and leather strap all dancing in harmony on your palate and into your senses. You work hard, you deserve this wine in your life; it is worth every damn penny.
