Tenuta Col d'Orcia Rosso di Montalcino 2018 Review
If Brunello di Montalcino is too pricey, opt for the same grapes just released earlier and not aged as long. This wine is a great wallop of Sangiovese with smells of cranberries and cherries, along with some fresh soil wafting up. It has that good depth, balanced by a bright acidity that is keeping the wine in check. Have a pasta night with some good friends, a couple bottles, and you’ll be satisfied like you just spent major coin on Brunello, but you didn't.
