Talley Vineyards is known for bringing the first Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to the San Luis Obispo Coast before it was considered an official AVA. They have expanded over the years, planting new vineyards and working with new varieties like this Grüner. And they are proving that Grüner works here. This wine has pleasant waxy, tart fruit on the nose with some lemon zest and a hint of honey. The palate offers an impressive depth that you don't often find with this grape.
