Russell's Reserve Single Barrel Review
This single barrel bottling is named in honor of Wild Turkey’s father and son master distiller team Jimmy and Eddie Russell. The nose offers a heady mix of dark chocolate and nuts, and some hints of age. Vibrant fruit comes through on the palate, with complex leather and spice notes. Its proof barely registers and the non-chill filtration maintains a rich, oily mouthfeel. This bourbon punches well above its price point.
