Deep, dark, spicy and soft with a good tannic edge from 250 year old vines producing an ancient grape only found in Trentino, this wine is one hell of a find. The nose is earthy, with blackberry fruit and fresh, plowed earth, and a slight pepper note. It has a comfortable rest on the palate with added aromas of fresh tobacco leaf and a hint of strap leather. This wine is a treat and will delight you with its balance and slick tannin structure. Oh, and it will impress your friends cuz they’ve def never heard of it.
