Rodney Strong Estate Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2016 Review
The nose of this wine is great, with some seasoned meat and mint aromas playing with classic cherry notes along with some vanilla. Sounds exciting right? Well, most of that drops away on the palate as the acidity takes over, muting the aromas. The fruit notes transform into dried fruits on the broad palate. It’s under $20, making it a solid party wine for non-wine focused events.
