Rodney Strong Chalk Hill Chardonnay 2019 Review
Rodney Strong was the first to take advantage of Chalk Hill back in the day and this little gem shows how you too can enjoy wines from this small plot of land in Sonoma and not break the bank. There is a lot of richness and oak here with a dense nose. But the balance is apparent with good acidity showcasing the wood influence instead of using it to bog the wine down. This is a great, balanced, everyday wine to explore a revered wine region.
