Robert Mondavi Winery Pinot Noir 2017 Review
This wine is everywhere and it is a solid, safe bet. If the yields were lower (a lot of this wine is made) there would be more complexity, but even as it is, it is a solid wine. The nose opens with ripe and citrus focused rhubarb with dark cherry notes along with some vanilla. The palate enjoys the same list of aromas while being broad and deep on the palate. The acidity is correct and the tannins are woven in nicely. It won’t blow minds, but it is one hell of a safe bet.
