Rhum J.M VO Vieux Agricole
Review
This Martinique rhum agricole spends three years aging in toasted new American oak barrels before it's bottled at 43 percent ABV. The influence of oak is much more pronounced than its age would have you suspect. It proves to be more than enough time to develop an enjoyable and broad range of toasted, spiced notes. Meanwhile, the slightly higher than average ABV helps to dial up its overall character.
