Viña Tarapaca Carménère Gran Reserva 2014 Review
Dark and dense, this is a Carménère that shows its serious Bordeaux origins. While lacking refinement, this wine is certainly big and bold, with plump black fruit, rich dark chocolate, sweet tobacco, rustic, horsey earth and a real green streak. Though some might find it heavy-handed, lovers of full-bodied, oaky wines will consider it a steal.
