Vietti Barolo 'Castiglione' 2013 Review
One of the region's most historic producers blends several vineyards in Castiglione Falletto to create this lithe Barolo. Strawberry-scented and floral, with a handful of fresh mint thrown in, it’s entirely classic, with light earth and fine tannins. It’s going through an awkward phase right now, not quite expressing its full potential, but those with patience will be rewarded.
