Pinot Noir
Veramonte Pinot Noir 2016 Review
This is a great value-priced Pinot Noir. It has a garnet, slightly transparent color, and aromas of bramble fruit, spice, leather, and a hint of earth. It’s fruit-forward, and flavors include tart cherries and a hint of savory meats. It’s not super complex, but it’s proper Pinot Noir for an extremely affordable $11. Many other Pinots at this price point don’t taste like Pinot Noir, but this is textbook Pinot. It's a great gateway wine to higher-end Pinot.
