Justin Vineyards 'Isosceles' 2014 Review
Intense in both flavor and aroma, this black-fruited, oak-driven wine manages to avoid the classification of being merely an oak and fruit bomb. Yes, it is aggressively fruit-driven, but it has dimension, with notes of anise, cocoa paste, and vanilla toast emerging beneath the black cherry fruit. Round flavor leads on the palate, while the finish combines the push-pull of sweet spice and nutty, salty length.
