Garofoli ‘Podium’ Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore 2015 Review
This is a complex and bold white with aromas that are both floral and savory, including almond blossoms, fresh pear, and a hint of aged Grana Padano cheese. The flavors are clean and savory, with citrus, olive oil, and a hint of salt. The wine is very full-bodied and palate coating, while also being elegant and balanced. 2015 is the current release, and the wine should continue to improve for another 5-10 years. This is a serious Italian white. If you like complex white wines, try this.
