On the richer, toastier side of the traditional-method sparkler spectrum, plenty of layered, savory complexity comes through on the nose. Notes of red apple, fresh butter, roasted nuts, and savory lees carry through to the mouth-filling palate, which is much fruitier than the nose. This strikes the sweet spot between richness and freshness, with finely textured bubbles, making it an excellent Champagne alternative.
