Ciù Ciù 'Merlettaie' Offida Pecorino 2016 Review
From an Italian grape not often seen in the U.S., this wine is something new for lovers of unoaked Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio to explore: fuller-bodied and lower in acidity, with an exceptionally ripe and fruity nose that becomes more restrained, spicy, and savory on the palate. It’s an interesting dive into a different grape variety but overall, the wine is lacking focus.
