Carlos Serres Rioja Crianza 2013 Review
While it doesn’t have the concentration of some Rioja wines, this Rioja Crianza has enough impact to make it a crowd-pleaser, though its sweet finish might turn off some serious Old World wine lovers. Tart red cherry, strawberry and raspberry fruit reads thin on the nose, with a darker vanilla and cinnamon spice character tuning up the volume on the palate.
