Reeve Heritage Pinot Noir 2023 Review

Banshee’s owners, Kelly and Noah Dorrance, had a dream to make wine from the most sought-after vineyards in Sonoma. Their lineup is a panoply of relationships with vineyards and their wonders, even the owners' dogs. Their goal, to express the best. Heritage means the wine was made with California Heritage Pinot Noir clones that were able to develop in the soils of the Golden State. It’s a stunning wine with unctuous notes of earthy cherries and forest floor, with a distant umami aroma of mushrooms. It’s fleshy and delicious; the wine embraces your palate, leaving no room for anything else. It is all-encompassing, and you won't want to stop drinking it. The fruit, tannins, and acidity exist and harmony. Beautiful wine.
