Principe Corsini "Le Corti" Chianti Classico DOCG 2015 Review

Here is what’s going on right now with this wine: a welcoming, intense nose profile of signature sour cherry and other dark fruit, floral notes verging on violet and a good dose of forest floor complimented by notes of tobacco leaf (like a savory herb kind of thing) with a hint of licorice. The acidity is excellent and the balance of aromas is great. The tannin, though, is still ornery and needs a bit more time to settle and reduce into the wine. It is drinking fine right now, but give it a few years and this wine will sing!
