Planeta Chardonnay Sicilia 2021 Review
Planeta, situated on the western side of Sicily, has been a leader in Sicilian wine. Especially here in the US. It was one of the first winemakers from the island that made a noise on our market. The winery continues to thrive, constantly looking towards the future. Chardonnay is not one of the first grapes that comes to mind when thinking of Sicily, but with the awesomeness of this wine, maybe it should be. This wine is amazing. The nose is all ripe fruit with a kiss of oak that adds to the complexity of of the wine. The mouthfeel is rich and refreshing at the same time with nice calm weight on the palate.
