Old Overholt Straight Rye Review

Old Overholt is a historic rye whiskey brand that seasoned drinkers will be more than familiar with. Some recent production changes (six additional proof points and non-chill filtered) have transformed this much-loved whiskey into an absolute must buy. There's decent complexity to the nose, starting with banana and dried coconut notes, and followed by toasted oak. Spicy rye leads the well-balanced palate and the body feels weighty for the ABV content. You can absolutely sip on this, but hold the ice.
