Old Grand-Dad Bourbon Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Review
Part of the Beam-Suntory-owned “Olds” family of whiskeys, this is a standout bourbon straight from the bottom shelf. Its aromas are bright and lively, jumping out of the glass in the form of cornbread, baking spice, and dried berry notes. The palate evokes fresh fruits such as green apples and apricots, and has a creamy, well-rounded finish. The bottle might look slightly cheap and unremarkable, but the liquor inside is wonderful.
