My Favorite Neighbor Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 Review

Eric Jensen’s neighbor when he was first starting out on the west side of Paso Robles was Stephan Asseo of L’Aventure Winery. These two personalities would inevitability become friends, and are still to this day. Asseo coined himself Jensen's favorite neighbor and became a mentor to him over the years. This Cab is a testament to Jensen's dedication in the vineyard and the winery. It is a beautifully structured wine with some unique floral notes wafting up alongside the blackberry fruit. The palate is supple and deep, like really deep, with an earthy tinge, amazing acidity. It’s a wine you’ll want to sink into.
