Michter’s US★1 Single Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey Review
Michter’s always delivers and this year’s single barrel rye release proves that. There’s a bright, citrusy nose with plenty of baking spice; the palate leans toward butterscotch, barrel spice, and black pepper. Though a mere 84.8 proof, it still has enough oomph for cocktails but likewise works as an economical, easy-drinking neat pour.
