Micheal David Winery Ancient Vine Cinsault 2016 Review
What a great wine and one that flies in the face of the warm climate of lodi. This old vine Cinsault is balanced, rich on the finish, and bright ruby red with notes of cranberry, leather strap and a nice palate-coating oak and vanilla aroma rounding it all off. The vines this wine is made from is the oldest producing vineyard in Lodi and the Phillips family does it such justice; and at this price it’s easy to experience something special from Cali you may have never thought to try.
