Mazzocco Winery Merlot 2019 Review
Winemaker Antoine Favero is known for his single vineyard Zinfandel from Sonoma's Dry Creek Valley, and he gives the same attention to this stunning Merlot. The nose has notes of earth, bruised fruit, and hints of cinnamon. The palate is balanced, with medium fruit and excellent acidity. Soft tannins frame the wine, making it very enjoyable to sip and ponder.
