Mazza Chautauqua Cellars Pinot Grigio 2020
Review
The Mazza family was part of the fabric of Pennsylvania's Lake Erie wine industry getting started in 1972, before there were AVAs. In 2004 they expanded with a winery in New York. This Pinot Grigio from their New York-based Chautauqua Cellars is so unique. It has a honeyed nose with a welcome bitter note bringing a nice contrast to the slight sweetness. The palate is awesome with deep fruit and calm acidity. It has a slight creamy vibe and all kinds of balance.
