Maria Caterina Cantina 'Dei' Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG 2016 Review
If you wanna get really old school with Italian Sangiovese, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano hits the spot. And this is a great example. It could age another year or so, but it’s so damn earthy and smells like brandy-soaked cherries, a tobacco shop, and a dollop of freshlu-turned earth. It has a good weight on the palate with enough acidity to lift just right. This wine with a duck ragout pappardelle — FUGGEDABOUTIT.
