Luigi Voghera Barbaresco DOCG 2016 Review

This wine is still a bit sleepy. There are still some rough edges that need a little softening, but it is still drinking well now. In a year, the smell of cherries, deep in the fruit core, will emerge with some brighter feels. The tannins will weave themselves into the wine, and the elegance of wine from this region will sing. Right now, a good grilled steak will match well, and with some time, it will really jive with stuffed pasta like agnolotti.
