Long Meadow Ranch Anderson Valley Chardonnay 2016 Review

Mendocino is a beautiful place with wonderful weather and amazing views. This wine exudes that feeling, with impeccable balance and restraint, while maintaining a rich, refreshing mouthfeel. Here we have what Chardonnay wants to show us, with bright notes of apple and pear and a lemon/lime tinge mingling with sweet acacia on the nose. On the palate an additional package of french butter and a hint of coconut rides a rich medium bodied wine with minty minerality. Sipping this wine one can imagine the cool climate it was grown in. This wine could be paired with warm weather fare or simply be sipped during a sunset.
