Koehler-Ruprecht Kallstadter Annaberg Chardonnay Spätlese Trocken 2021 Review
Germany is the land of Riesling, so we don't often think about Chardonnay when when we think of German wine. But Koehler-Ruprecht works with a 120-year-old organically farmed Chardonnay vineyard, and the resulting wine is stunning. The mineral-driven nose has subtle fruit and an extremely balanced palate with beautiful texture and a slight grip. SO damn balanced.
