Kobal Sivi Pinot 2023 Review
Kobal is situated in the Haloze Hills appellation of Slovenia, one of the oldest winemaking regions in the country dating back 2,000 years. Sivi Pinot (more commonly known as Pinot Grigio/Gris) is a popular variety in Slovenia, frequently used to make skin-contact wines — and Kobal makes one of the best on the market. On the nose it's watermelon, guava, and white pepper with slight hint of yogurt. The palate is soft and balanced with a refreshing finish.
