Knudsen Vineyards Dundee Hills Chardonnay 2016 Review
This is one hell of a structured Chardonnay from the famous French Dijon clone up in the Dundee Hills of Willamette Valley. Proving that this region is not just for Pinot Noir this wine could be tasted right up there with some fine Burgundy examples. The nose is a lovely blend of lemon curd and peach coulis, flecked with toasted coconut from unapologetic new French oak aging. The palate is calm, smooth, and broad with the crisp addition of apple and a hint of butterscotch. This wine will make you fall in love with American Chardonnay.
