Julia Bertram Handwerk Spatburgunder 2016 Review

At 11% alcohol this is a Pinot on the lower end of the alcohol spectrum. Bright cherry notes are a whisper in comparison to the more savory notes of herbs and black olives. The acidity is at an all-time high, and almost sparkles on the tongue. It’s a bit expensive for what it is, but would be a great wine to chill down and sip with friends and some simple bites.
