Jermann Pinot Grigio Venezia Giulia IGT 2017 Review

Ever wonder if Pinot Grigio can have depth and character? We don’t often see it, but here is one of the best examples out there of how it’s done. White flowers like hawthorn and the concentrated citrus aroma of meyer lemon opens the nose. With a swirl some white peach emerges among the wet-stone minerality. The acidity plays well, with the depth of the wine being given a nice, broad, toothsome mouthfeel that begs for more sips. It’s pricier than other Pinot Grigio’s out there, but do yourself a favor and spend the coin!
