J. Wilkes Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir 2018 Review
This is tart wine. It smells like cherries but has a leanness on the nose that thins out the perception of fruit, and comes off as pruned and bit dusty — like your friend's vinyl collection. The acidity is high and amplifies that tart vibe. It's balanced enough for a gifting situation.
