Iterum Orchard House Estate Pinot Noir 2021 Review
Drinking Iterum wine is like participating in one of the most enjoyable and elegant science experiments. They work with multiple clones and varying terroirs to bring different expressions to their wines. And their labels reflect these ideas in location and clone type while this all sounds very geeky it's just very delicious wine. This wine comes from owner and winemaker Joe Dobbes' estate vineyard with a couple of different clones that he blends into this wine. It has a quiet nose of cherries and a whisper of oak. The palate has a juicy and refreshing feel with lithe fruit mingling with active acidity. There is a slight reductive note on the finish but that adds to the enjoyment.
