Isle of Skye Rum Cask Finish Review
This 10-year age-stated marvel is unfathomably affordable. The limited release blended Scotch is finished in Caribbean rum casks, though it’s hardly a “rum lover’s whiskey.” The tropical and spicy notes of the rum barrel meld well with the maltiness and slight peat of the Scotch for a balanced, flavorful pour. Enjoyable neat, it would soar in a highball with soda water or Coke.
