Hirsch Vineyards Chardonnay 2021 Review
Let’s not beat around the bush here. This Chardonnay continues to excite year after year. The nose is so expressive, not with oak, but rather well-balanced earthy and mineral fruit. It’s almost hard to put into words. The palate is the same with a grip around the edges and the slightest hint of something savory all the way in the background that adds to the complexity of the wine. This is not the oak-forward Chardonnay California is used to. If there is any oak it has slipped into the wine and become another layer of its incredible depth.
