Hatozaki Small Batch Pure Malt Whisky Review

Composed from a blend of 5 to 6-year-old single malts and aged in Mizunara, sherry, and bourbon casks, this blended whisky is light in color and expressive in character. Notes of malted barley combine with aromas of damp earth and sweet caramel on the nose, followed by a bright finish on the palate. This whisky is a great pure malt pick for highballs, complemented with fresh garnishes like apples or citrus fruits.
