Green Spot Single Pot Still Review
Combing 7- and 10-year-old pot still whiskeys, Green Spot is instantly inviting with banana muffin, creamy oat, and golden raisin aromas. The palate is complex and layered, and soon delivers on the quality of the nose. A rich oat core and luscious mouthfeel serve the signature texture of the pot still style. A hint of tannins — like a strongly brewed tea — adds further nuance, followed by a pleasant black pepper finish. Without a doubt, Green Spot is flying the flag for whiskey from the Emerald Isle.
